Summer Reading Program
This Year’s Summer Reading Program theme is “Libraries Rock!” In this year’s program we will be building instruments, looking at science in music, playing with ooblek, exploring music from around the world, looking at how music effects our moods and much more! Each session we will read a book, do an activity and log our summer reading efforts. This year first prize for reading will be a kids tablet! The program is directed at students in grades K-4 and starts July 10th and ends August 16th, it meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am-11am. Children who participate in the program are welcomed to join us on the library float at the firemen’s field day parade at the end of session. This year's grand prize for reading will be a children's tablet donated to us by the Friends of the Library.
